The college offers a Master of Engineering degree in Oil & Gas Field Development Engineering, Oil & Gas Well Engineering, Oil & Gas Storage and Transportation Engineering, Unconventional Oil & Gas development Engineering, and Offshore Oil & Gas Engineering , an joint PhD degree in Oil & Gas Field Development Engineering. The program emphasizes integrated, multidisciplinary teamwork in classroom instruction and research.

The master of engineering degree takes approximately three years to complete. There is a minimum core requirement of (32 for Master of Engineering) credit hours in drilling, production, development geology, formation evaluation, reservoir engineering, and engineering mathematics. In addition to fulfilling the course work, the students must pass an oral research proposal examination and the final oral examination (thesis defense).

The program is open to student's holding degrees in petroleum engineering, other engineering disciplines, or sciences. For students with a degree in other engineering fields or science, additional coursework is required with no graduate credit. The academic course plan for each student will be developed in consultation with and approved by the student's advisor.
